Provides free outpatient substance abuse treatment for gay and bisexual men who use methamphetamine. The program combines group counseling with an intervention that gives rewards for submitting urine samples that show no recent use of methamphetamine. The program lasts six months: Phase I consists of groups three nights per week for eight weeks. Phase II consists of group one night a week for 24 more weeks.

SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities. SAMHSA sponsors National Recovery Month every September to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover.
